7/2/2008: Jammer goes BEST IN SHOW and is a new CFC Champion
Thank you to Stefan Slovinko of Slovenia, who granted Jammer a Best in Show at the Canine Federation of Canada show on Memorial Day. You need three wins and excellent ratings to become a CFC champion, judged by FCI rules with written ratings of conformation. In three shows, Jammer had three wins with excellent ratings, three GROUP wins, culminating in a BEST IN SHOW. All three judges were VERY complimentary on his outstanding breed type, movement, expression and condition!!! It's now Am Can BIS CFC CH HHH Jam On The Brakes! |

5/19/2008: Nola and Maura receive CHIC designations this week!
In keeping with our committment to health, Maura and Nola joined Giddy in obtaining their Canine Health Information Center Certificates! Both have completed the required testing with OFA thyroid in addition to the CHIC requirements! |

3/3/2008: Ritter wins BBE two of three days at Garden Specialties!!
Ritter won two of three VERY competitive Bred By Exhibitor dog classes and two his three Puppy Sweepstakes classes (which were again very competitive) at the Garden Specialties!!!! There were some outstanding entries in both sets of classes, we're quite proud he comported himself so well and such a large competition at such a young age! |

Jammer, Giddy and Bob had a successful Canadian hunting trip and have come home to start the Vermont season. At five and a half months, Jammer pointed and retrieved wild Canadian Grouse straight to Bob's hand! Ms. Giddy got her fair share of the birds in her usual intense style! 9/4/2006 - 9/4/2006: Kobe goes home to Pennsylvania
We are missing Kobe badly here on the hill. He was here at "Wild Bird Camp" all summer, out on wild grouse and woodcock several times per week. He became such a part of the household, crashed on the bed or the couch with the rest of the Hill gang! What a wonderful temperament Kobe has! However, sad to say, everyone goes home from camp at the end of the summer but he and his mom will be back in October to hunt! |
