HHH Puppies

At Hedgehog Hill, our emphasis is on healthy happy puppies! We focus on socialization and early experiences that create confident companions that can excel in any venue. We strive to produce Shorthairs that are of sound temperament and health, who are intense in the field and correct to the German Shorthaired Pointer Breed Standard.

We focus on early socialization and all training being FUN FUN FUN, whether in the show ring or in the field. Our pups have strong pointing instincts, they point early and are often out in the field their first season bringing home birds. (Link to point photos)

Our pups are cuddly companions that love their people and look forward to any adventure!

We carefully screen our homes and maintain a waiting list for most litters. While loving lifetime homes are our first priority, we also emphasize hunting and show homes and those who will pursue conformation, hunting, obedience, agility or tracking titles, or perhaps therapy dog work or service dogs. If you are interested in pursuing the purchase of an HHH puppy, please contact us to begin the screening process to reserve a pup in a future litter. We occasionally have young started dogs for hunting homes as well.

Pasta puppy mom Nola began a tradition. Jammer, Ruby and now Izzy have all followed suit and won Best Puppy in Sporting Group the first day or weekend they were shown as junior puppies in CKC!

We are very proud of the accolades our puppies have received in AKC and CKC competition over the years and generations. We have numerous AKC puppy group placements, Specialty show Best Puppy in Sweepstakes, GSPCA placements and Specialty major wins from the puppy classes.

In CKC competition, Nola started a tradition of winning Best Puppy in Sporting Group the first day shown. Jammer, Ruby and Izzy have promptly followed suit!
